Planning & Design Division service the need of the entire Island.

Senior Chartered Engineers with Post Graduate qualification and long years of experience carryout Process Designs, water treatment plant designs, pipe line designs and pump selections.

An experience structural engineer with the assistance of a structural consultant, advice on all problems related to structural designs.

Electrical and Mechanical in put are provided Experienced Engineers.

Water cad, kypipe, Loop and Branch Programs are used for Hydraulic designs, Prokon, Microfeap, GT strudl & micros Tran programmers are used for structural designs other than conventional manual methods.

Sewerage designs are handled by a team of experienced engineers. Consultancy services are provided from this section to other organizations too. Sewerage treatment plants and sewerage network are being design for Government Hospital, and other government institutions. Also services are provided from this section to provide factory owners on waste water treatment.

A group of draught persons assist in preparation of drawings. The drawing office is fully computerized and the draught person are well experienced in producing on AutoCAD.

A team of experienced surveyors handle survey work. Preparation of survey plans are done by using "Teramodel" package.

External consultancy services are obtained from local and foreign experts whenever specialized knowledge and skill are required or whenever extra resources are required.
