Advertising
Tenders are generally advertised in the news papers(Daily News, Dinamina and Thinakaran). Closing time and address for lodgment is given in the tender notice. Tenders must be lodged in the Tender Box kept at Tenders and Contracts Branch of the Head Office of the National Water Supply & Drainage Board, 2nd Floor, Galle Road, Ratmalana not later than the closing time stated on the tender notice. Tenders will be opened in the presence of tenders at the opening time. The tender or offer must be enclosed in a sealed plain envelope bearing:
the tenderer's name and postal address;
the Tender Number; and
the description of the Tender.
A tender will not be accepted if delivered by telephone, facsimile or electronic means of delivery.
Late tenders will not be accepted.
Conditions of Tendering
The Tender must comply in all respects with the Tender Conditions Stipulated in the Tender Document.
