The Regional Support Center, uva was established for smooth management of Operation & Maintenance in year 2011 at Bandarawela and was shifted to Badulla in year 2017. It consists of two regions known as Bandarawela and Monaragala. It is able to cover 41.4% of the Uva province and providing 142,000 no of connections at the present. The RSC is headed by the Deputy General Manager (Uva) with the guidance of Additional General Manager (E/S/U), who is also stationed in the same premises. All Planning & Design works related to the province are carried out by the P&D, M&E and Sector Planning sections, while all the major and minor construction supervisions are done by construction section with the help of Regional Mangers under the guidance of the Assistant General Manager (AGM). Both DGM and AGM are looking after the operations and maintenance (O&M) in addition to the development functions. RSC Uva was awarded a GOLD Rating Certification under the GREENSL® Rating System at the Annual Green Building Awards 2019 and Commendation certificate under service sector (medium) by National Productivity Awards 2021.
