මඩකලපුව ජල සම්පාදන ක්රමය (Batticaloa WSS), ඉරුතයාපුරම් ජල සම්පාදන ක්රමය (Iruthayapuram WSS) සහ කල්ලඩි ජල සම්පාදන ක්රමය (Kallady WSS) සඳහා වන ජල සුරක්ෂිතතා සැලසුම් (Water Safety Plan) පාර්ශවකරුවන්ගේ සාකච්ඡාව 2026.04.29 දින මඩකලපුව මන්මුනයි උතුරු ප්රාදේශීය ලේකම් කාර්යාල සම්මන්ත්රණ ශාලාවේදී ප්රාදේශීය ලේකම්තුමාගේ ප්රධානත්වයෙන් සාර්ථකව පැවැත්විණි.
මෙම අවස්ථාව සඳහා සහකාර සාමාන්යාධිකාරී (මෙහෙයුම් හා නඩත්තු), ප්රාදේශීය කළමනාකරු – මඩකලපුව සහ අදාළ රාජ්ය ආයතන හා පාර්ශවකරුවන්ගේ ප්රධානීන්/නියෝජිතයින් සහභාගී විය.
මෙහිදී පානීය ජල සැපයුම් පද්ධතිවල ආරක්ෂාව හා තිරසාරභාවය තහවුරු කිරීම, ජල මූලාශ්රයේ සිට පාරිභෝගිකයා දක්වා ඇති විය හැකි අවදානම් හඳුනා ගැනීම, ආයතන අතර සම්බන්ධීකරණය ශක්තිමත් කිරීම සහ ජල සුරක්ෂිතතා සැලැස්ම යටතේ වැළැක්වීමේ හා නිවැරදි කිරීමේ ක්රියාමාර්ග ක්රියාත්මක කිරීම පිළිබඳව විශේෂ අවධානය යොමු කරන ලදී.
එමෙන්ම, මඩකලපුව ප්රදේශයේ ජනතාවට අඛණ්ඩව සුරක්ෂිත පානීය ජල සැපයුමක් ලබාදීම, මහජන සෞඛ්ය ආරක්ෂාව තහවුරු කිරීම, පරිසර සංරක්ෂණය සහ අඛණ්ඩ අධීක්ෂණ ක්රියාවලියක වැදගත්කම පිළිබඳව ද මෙම පාර්ශවකරුවන්ගේ සාකච්ඡාවේදී අවධාරණය කෙරිණි.
The Water Safety Plan Stakeholder Meeting for the Batticaloa Water Supply Scheme (WSS), Iruthayapuram WSS, and Kallady WSS was successfully held on 29.04.2026 at the Conference Hall of the Divisional Secretariat, Manmunai North – Batticaloa, under the chairmanship of the Divisional Secretary.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant General Manager (O&M), Regional Manager – Batticaloa, and Heads/Representatives of relevant government departments and stakeholder institutions.
The discussions focused on ensuring the safety and sustainability of drinking water supply systems, identifying potential risks from source to consumer, strengthening inter-agency coordination, and implementing preventive and corrective measures under the Water Safety Plan framework.
The stakeholder meeting also emphasized the importance of continuous monitoring, protection of public health, environmental conservation, and maintaining an uninterrupted supply of safe drinking water to the people of the Batticaloa region.
