The Regional Support Center (RSC) Uva was established in 2011 in Bandarawela to facilitate the efficient management of O&M activities in Uva province. In 2017, the center was relocated to Badulla, where it currently operates and it oversees two key regions, Bandarawela and Monaragala. Both regions currently supply treated water to nearly 160,000 service connections across the Uva Province. RSC (Uva) headed by the Deputy General Manager (DGM) Uva, operating under the strategic guidance of the Additional General Manager (Addl. GM) E/S/U, who is stationed at the same premises. The Planning & Design (P&D), Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), and Sector Planning sections are responsible for all planning and design activities related to the province, while major and minor construction supervision is carried out by the Construction Section with the support of Regional Managers and their staff. Under the DGM (Uva), AGM (Uva) is looking the development activities in accordance with the corporate action plan. Both the DGM (Uva) and AGM (Uva) oversee not only the operation and maintenance functions but also development initiatives within the province as mentioned.

NWSDB, RSC (Uva) currently supplies drinking water to over 160,000 consumers including Provincial General Hospital Badulla, District General hospital Monaragala, Uva Wellassa University, Army Camps in Diyathalawa and Monaragala and Ella tourism area. It is expected to expand the number of service connections up to 166,000 in the end of year 2025.
- NWSDB RSC (Uva) is a ISO 9001: 2015 QMS certified organization for it’ s processes under the SLSI AND has received a GOLD rating certification under the GREEN SL rating system for built environment by the Green Building Council of Sri Lanka.

- Ettampitiya Officer In Charge (OIC) Office Awarded as the 1st place for The Best OIC office At the World Water Day Event 2023 by NWSDB by NWSDB And received 5-S certification from the National Productivity Secretariat 2025.
- Bandarawela Regional Workshop won the 1st Place under the best workshop category in the in the NWSDB World Water Day Event 2023.
- Monaragala Commercial Section won the 1st Place under the best commercial section category in the in the NWSDB World Water Day Event 2020.

The Regional Support Center, Uva was established for smooth management of Operation & Maintenance in year 2011 at Bandarawela and was shifted to Badulla in year 2017. It consists of two regions known as Bandarawela and Monaragala. It is able to cover 41.4% of the Uva province and providing 142,000 no of connections at the present.
The RSC is headed by the Deputy General Manager (Uva) with the guidance of Additional General Manager (E/S/U), who is also stationed in the same premises. All Planning & Design works related to the province are carried out by the P&D, M&E and Sector Planning sections, while all the major and minor construction supervisions are done by construction section with the help of Regional Mangers under the guidance of the Assistant General Manager (AGM). Both DGM and AGM are looking after the operations and maintenance (O&M) in addition to the development functions.
RSC Uva was awarded a GOLD Rating Certification under the GREENSL® Rating System at the Annual Green Building Awards 2019 and Commendation certificate under service sector (medium) by National Productivity Awards 2021.
