The Thambuttegama Water Supply Project, which was implemented with the Angamuwa Reservoir as a water source with the aim of providing safe and clean drinking water to the people of Thambuttegama, Thalawa and Galnewa areas, covers the Thambuttegama Divisional Secretariat Division, part of the Thalawa Divisional Secretariat Division and part of the Galnewa Divisional Secretariat Division, providing safe drinking water to the people.
Beneficiaries – 91,810 people and new water connections – 25,000 The project has enabled thousands of people to be provided with quality, safe and reliable drinking water facilities, covering 42 Grama Niladhari Divisions.
